We are evolving as human beings at a speed that was not seen before, the question is do we reached the limits of human intelligence?

Human intelligence, mental quality that consists of the abilities to learn from experience, adapt to new situations, understand and handle abstract concepts, and use knowledge to manipulate one’s environment.

Recently I was reading an article about the limits of human intelligence. It is an interesting article that says:

“Despite huge advances in science over the past century, our understanding of nature is still far from complete. Not only have scientists failed to find the Holy Grail of physics — unifying the very large (general relativity) with the very small (quantum mechanics) — they still don’t know what the vast majority of the universe is made up of. The sought-after Theory of Everything continues to elude us. And there are other outstanding puzzles, too, such as how consciousness arises from mere matter.” ( You can read the article here. )

It is interesting to read that despite the unlimited data that is produced right now, why do we debate about the limits of human intelligence. But there is a catch between the size of data and human intelligence.

Contrary to computers, humans are terrible at storing and processing information. For instance, you must listen to a song several times before you can memorize it. But for a computer, memorizing a song is as simple as pressing “Save” in an application or copying the file into its hard drive. Likewise, un-memorizing is hard for humans. Try as you might, you can’t forget bad memories. For a computer, it’s as easy as deleting a file.

When it comes to processing data, humans are obviously inferior to AI. In all the examples iterated above, humans might be able to perform the same tasks as computers.

The question remains, what is the limit of human intelligence?

Do we reach it?

Do we rely on AI now?
