What kind of today’s designs will be considered classic 30–50 years from now?

Technology is changing so fast, but the beauty of the design is not as it was decades ago, what will be considered classic and timeless in 30–50 years from now?

We are living in such a world that everything is changing very fast, innovations, new technologies are popping up every day, even in very high regulated fields like Health Care. The platforms, systems, that we have now didn't exist 3 years ago.

What I had in my mind is, what will be considered a retro, classic technology in the 2050s? The designs that we see nowadays dont fit the profile to be considered as timeless or great design. Why is it so? are we becoming more of a consumer society and dont want to lose time to create great designs of art?

Is it the EV? or the social platforms that we have? Or mobile phones? Especially how will be EV be seen after 40 years? a classic or a forgotten car?

I doubt that this will be the case for the cars, none of them seem to have a design, a style, or something that will be an eternal design.

My favorite time for real design, basically timeless design in the 1950s to 1960s. Some of those designs are like art pieces, I put some of them here. We don't have such designers anymore. Maybe everything is becoming more virtual than visual.

The question is what will become classic and collectible 50 years from now?
